A/N: I know Suzanne Collins never wrote down what District 9 specializes so I'll just use whatever the movie poster which is grain. In opinion, I think that's a really stupid idea because doesn't District 11 already have grain (they focus in agriculture in general). Oh well, Mrs. Suzanne should have told us. Anyway...
Casey's POV (A/N: lol, it's been a really long time since I made point of views. Btw, since I gone this far, if you are my friend in real life, it's advisable to look an my older post, Hunger Games Notice so you would know who is who. If I haven't got into you yet, just wait, you'll be there sooner or later, I just need to pair you up with someone and put you in a district)
Casey's POV (for real)
The sun was blazing down my sweaty skin as I pulled weeds from the farm. I wiped the beads of sweat trickling down my head and breathed heavily. I pulled out grain and thrown it into my large pile of grain, carrying it to a wain and sat next to Eathan. My friend, Julie, whistled flirtatiously. I mouthed "Shut Up!"
Julie found out I liked Eathan when I was eleven years old. Now, I'm thirteen and I could care less about him. And anyway, he ignored me after he found out I liked him. Before, he was a very good friend to me, so kind, so sweet. Until he found some gold hidden in the dirt on day and so he got popular.
No worries, I guess. He became a jerk afterwards, I guess that's why I didn't like him anymore. Trying to ignore Eathan while he's riding me to the factory, I rub my bloody blisters. Right now, I should be at school, but ever since my father past away due to an accident in the factory, we are nearly broke. Since I am the oldest, I should work in the grainery fields. My mom sadly was taken to the Capitol for punishment so I must maintain my two other little sisters and earn some money.
The ride was bumpy, the grain buckets kept bouncing everywhere, some of the grain spilled out. I grasped the wooden handle of my seat and flipped my long blonde hair onto my right shoulder. Earthen cleared his voice, I still didn't feel like talking to him. He's just a ride, that's all.
END OF POV
"Hey, Casey," Eathan greeted.
"Hi," Casey said back, not making eye contact.
"Beautiful weather out here," he said.
"Are you kidding me? It's like 90° out here. I'm close to dehydration."
"Oh."
"Yeah," Casey answered, thinking why he would make that statement.
"Casey, I was wondering… What happened to us?" Eathan asked.
"What do you mean?"
"We stopped being friends, you were my only friend."
"You made new ones, then ignored me, then I was forced to make new friends. But that Julie girl is a pretty cool girl," she replied.
"I ignored you? No, it was vice versa," Eathan said.
"Only because you ignored me," Casey protested. She saw the entrance of the factory and jumped off the wain.
Eathan made an abrupt stop because of her jump off. Casey climbed onto the trink and dragged two buckets that is probably filled with combinations of grains and wheat like: spelt, farro, emmer, einkorn, and buckwheat. I ran to the entrance, first identified by a Peacekeeper, and entered inside as Eathan called something very indistinct.
CASEY'S POV
Just when I as handing a bucket to a Marco, a worker, a Peacekeeper pulled my shoulder next to him. All I could think of was wondering what I did, and how I will brutally get hurt. I whimpered in fear when he turned me around so I had to look at his face, or actually his helmet.
Could this be it, will I turn into an Avox?
"How old are you?" the Peacekeeper asked.
"Thirteen years old, ma'am," I feebly mumbled.
"Are you aware today is Reaping Day? You need to get home and get dressed, it's strictly madatory that you must look presentable and not dress in grime and overalls with untidy hair. Now go on," she gestured to the door.
I willingly ran to my house and gasped for air. Kaylee was already dressed and ordered me to wash up. I glanced at the clock. 1 hour and 50 minutes until doom.
END OF POV

The Hunger Games Challenge: Day Sixteen
The challenge today is: a question you wished had been answered on the book.
I have a lot...
1. What happens to Gale?
What job did he get?
What happens for his epilogue?
2. How did Haymitch and Cinna get involved into the conspiracy of the rebellion against the Capitol?
3. I would like to read more about Mrs. Everdeen and Mr. Everdeen: how they met, how in love they were, crap like that.
4. I would also like to know how Maysilee Donnor had the pin.
5. What are the names of Katniss and Peeta's children?
6. Out of curiosity, did Coin have a history with Snow?
7. Was the Undersea's a part of the conspiracies against the Rebellion? Or was it just the Victors?
8. Who was the girl that started the fire? I always felt it was Madge but I don't really know for sure who it was.
9. Why did Suzanne Collins have to kill of Finnick Odair?
I guess we may never know.

Hunger Games Chapter One (In District 10): Dreary Dairy
Jerry's parents owned a dairy shop.
Arlene's parents also owned a dairy shop.
Their dairy shops are right across from each other and they always have a rivalry between each other. Arlene's parent's shop was called Sparle's Cheeses and Milk. Jerry's was Samson's Dairy. Everyday, when they go to school, they meet on top of a tree branch to watch the sandbox they used to play on when they were younger. Usually, they talk about how silly their parents compete.
"I agree, it's just a dairy shop, equally great," Jerry shrugged.
"If we had a dairy shop, we would be better so they would quit squabbling," Arlene sighed.
"That's true. I have an idea, we can trade recipes for a day so they can be equally good!"
"I don't know," she was uncomfortable. Her mom and dad specifically told her not to expose their recipe of concentrated milk. But one recipe won't hurt anyone, right?
"Oh come on, it's just one. I'll trade with you," Jerry didn't give up.
"Okay," somehow, Arlene was very rueful about this. But she's know him all her life, there's gotta be some trust there.
"We can run to our store's really quick before lunch ends."
"Okay," Arlene repeated.
Suddenly, a man with a crispy voice crept up behind them. "HEY, YOU TWO KIDS GET OFF TREE!"
Arlene and Jerry climbed off the tree obediently and walked away from the Peacekeeper. "Stupid Peacekeeper," Jerry grumbled.
Arlene giggled. The two head off to class. One hour later, it was lunchtime, and Arlene caught Jerry not running out of the school.
"I got to finish a test," Jerry replied. Arlene didn't really believe him but she had no time. She ran to the dairy shop. Her parents weren't in the dairy shop, when she entered she found a note that said, "Gone to do some errands. Be back at 2:30"
Arlene glanced at the time. "Crap, it's 2:15!" she ran inside her father's office and found a whole shelf of recipes. Arlene grabbed a recipe book. Arlene closed the office door and locked the back door of the shop. She was able to run back, sparing two minutes and saw Jerry with a book that said, "DAIRY RECIPES AND ET CETERA" by Roberts Samson, Jerry's dad.
Quickly, Jerry and Arlene swapped books and walked to their parent's car. Arlene felt the queasiness of epinephrine in the car. When they got home, Arlene summoned her mom and dad.
"Yes, Arlene?" her mother asked.
"I have a recipe book. It's about dairy!" Arlene said enthusiastically, handing the book to her parents.
"This is the Samson's recipe book! Great! How did you get this, dear?" her father asked, studying the cover.
"Jerry and I swapped recipes," Arlene smiled.
Suddenly, Arlene's parents frowned. "Arlene, we told you, never expose the recipes!" her mother scolded.
"But look, we have their recipes so we're even!" Arlene convinced.
When her father opened the book, it was nothing but blank pages. He flipped to every book and not one page had anything written. The three looked out the window and saw hungry customers lining up for milk. Most of the customers held milk bottles and saw Robert Samson continue milking the cow and saw Mrs. Samson reading over their recipe book.
"ARLENE!" her parents yelled.
"I-I I am so sorry!" she apologized.
They watched over the store, Arlene feeling betrayed.
The next day, it was Reaping Day, Arlene felt very miserable. Jerry was her friend and he betrayed her like trash. She failed her family and failed to have a REAL friendship. They ignored each other, Arlene occasionally glared at Jerry who laughed it off. If only looks can kill, she thought.
Jerry was walking back home and Arlene ran to catch up with him. "How dare you?!" she yelled at him. Jerry ignored her. "I thought we were friends!"
"Of course not," he replied, still having his back turned to him. "Our family are rivals, I am not friends with an enemy."
"We don't have to be enemies! You told me, when we were kids that we need to be equal!"
"You are a gullible fool, Arlene."
"At least I don't betray people I call my friends," Arlene held back tears.
"Whatever you say, clearly, you're jealous that our shop is better."
"This isn't the Jerry I know. The Jerry I know is loyal!"
"I am loyal, to my family."
"I hope you get reaped, by the way!" Arlene gasped. She didn't mean to say those awful words, but having your friends deceive you like that, all your anger just needs to pour out from you. Jerry stopped walking. Jerry couldn't believe what he just heard. He wiped his nose and ran away.
Arlene remorsefully sniffles and walked the other way, knowing her way is supposed to be the direction Jerry was running to. But no, she can't stand even walking the same direction as him. That how much hatred Arlene had on Jerry, the person who was her only friend.

Hunger Games Chapter One (In District 11): What's in Your Head?
Cameron ran through the streets and through the outskirts of town, yet Peacekeepers kept gaining their way towards him. There, he held a cob of corn, now running towards his family. Cameron was probably the fastest runner anyone has ever seen, but since there were three Peacekeepers ready to strike at him, it was hard for him to deal with it.
His curly brown hair bounced in radiance as the Peacekeepers were slowed down by a fruit stand. Sadly, those crops were destroyed. One of them still struggled to avoid the stand and ran faster towards Cameron. He sprinted across the narrow path.
While Tessa was riding on a wagon with her father, she noticed some Peacekeepers yelling on the top of their lungs, "GET BACK HERE, WHEELER!!!!" She knew exactly who Wheeler was and needed to help him immediately.
"Dad, can I get off the wagon?"
"Why?"
"Uh..." she hatched a lie. "Um, I forgot my keys to the warehouse."
"Okay, but hurry, I don't want any trouble by the Peacekeepers, you hear?"
Tessa nodded her head and ran the opposite direction of the Peacekeepers, convincing her father she is not going into any trouble. She has the keys dangling in her pocket but wanted to find Cameron as soon as she can. Tessa knows it's not any of her business but she feels as if she needs to help. She soon darted behind a building to where the Peacekeepers were running.
Tessa hid behind a clothe stand that was unattended and saw Cameron running her way. Tessa crawled to an opening and just when Cameron's ankle was an inch away from her hand, she grabbed it. Cameron fell and slid to an opening. He hit his head but was still conscious. He scratched and saw Tessa, who was checking her range if it was visually clear of Peacekeepers.
"Thanks."
"No problem, can I give a word of advice?"
"Yes?"
"If you ever steal, don't make it obvious," Tessa fixed her bang that was on her face.
"I'm sorry?" she seemed vague to him.
"Never run away like that, right away, Peacekeepers will think you stole something. Just act casual."
"What do you know? You're just the farmer's daughter."
"Not to mention a beggar as well," she replied. "We may be farmers but it doesn't mean we have a surplus of crops. Someone usually steals it or an animal eats them all."
"Oh, we'll thanks again, I guess I'll be seeing you again soon?"
"Excuse me?"
"Well, today is Reaping Day. You are twelve, right?"
"Yes."
"Okay," Cameron began to get up from the stand until Tessa pulled him down.
"Ouch! What is it this time?" he asked, slightly annoyed.
"You aren't going like that."
"Why?"
"Peacekeepers memorize people's clothing and faces. It will be a little harder to find runaways if you dress differently," she said. Tessa grabbed a pink cloak and orange shorts. "Change into this."
"Aaww, why pink?" he whined.
"You are a bigger, yes?" Tessa asked.
"Yes," Cameron replied.
"Well, beggars can't be choosers." she shrugged.
"Fine, turn around," Cameron grumbled.
After a grueling thirty seconds of changing, the two got out of the stand and noticed people walking into the town square. There, they saw an escort polishing the crystal balls. The escort announced, "Two hours until reaping!" Cameron glanced at Tessa who looked scared as hell.

The Hunger Games: Day Fifteen
Hello, friends! So since I'm sick, I have to stay home while my family is at church. It sucks cause I really wanted to go to church but now I feel all crotchety. But hopefully I can make the Hunger Games book today. So here is the challenge today: your least favorite tribute (aside from Peeta and Katniss).
Well first off, I never hated Katniss and I LOVE Peeta. But if you ask me, I would say either Clove. There's something about Clove that I never really liked. In my thoughts, I always thought of Clove as a mean-spirited type of girl who thought she was cocky like Foxface.
But there's a difference between Foxface and Clove. See, Foxface knows what she's doing and she never got herself caught into any danger while Clove sort of knows what she's doing but she thinks she's better than the rest because of that. Foxface seems to be a humble person and Clove looks kind of snobbish.
But I may never know.

Rue's Mockingjay Call
Okay, those of you who watched the Hunger Games trailer, there is a whistle at the very end. It's called Rue's Mockingjay Call.
A certain friend told me that it's on iTunes for FREE! I have it on my iPad and I siriusly can't stop replaying it. Remember to check it out, it's Rue's Mockingjay Call for FREE on iTunes. It's just worth 4 seconds but it's still epic.
Don't forget! :)

The Hunger Games Challenge: Day Fourteen
Today's challenge is: Your favorite tribute (besides Katniss or Peeta)
They weren't really my favorite tribute anyway. So here is my list of tributes:
1. Foxface
2. Johanna Mason
3. Finnick Odair (I know...)
4. Maysilee Donner
5. Beetee
6. Cato
As I explained before, Foxface was the smartest tribute I've ever met, well except that one time with the berries. She knew what to do,was very calm, and she wasn't even a Career! I Loved the part where she exploded the Careers' food and supply. Plus she didn't seem to participate during the Cornuopia's bloodbath so she has to get weapons while everyone was armed and was able to. Foxface was also able escape some traps which was very skilled for her.
I admire Johanna's method: she acted like a weakling, fatigued fool and just when someone was about to kill her, she strikes like a cobra. To me, she is indifferent, hardy, and tough which is amazing to show girl power. I like how sheis very skillful with an axe.
Don't ask about Finnick Odair...
Maysilee Donner was the original owner of the mockinjay pin, and she was a good tribute until she died. If Haymitch and Maysilee lived (like Peeniss) I think they would fall in love. It's too bad it never happened. I always felt like Haymitch really missed Maysilee and was his genuine favorite. Maybe that was the pain he was struggling with...
Beetee's okay, I guess. I just like him, I don't know why.
And I explained about Cato too so just look at Day Four. :)
Bye bye now, I am as tired as Haymitch during a hangover. It's 1:42 D:
